Dartington Trust is home to 26 acres of Grade II* Listed Gardens. The Gardens have been evolving for over 1000 years. In 1925 the Elmhirsts, together with their designers created a place with natural wilderness, stunning vistas and commissioned sculptures. The Garden required interpretation at key points, to bring together the artistic heritage and the story of flora and forna to create a compelling visitor experience.
The new interpretation boards are modestly placed on aluminium slim panels on black wooden posts. The design is nature inspired in colour using leaf shadows from the immediate surrounding. The boards sit comfortably, responding to the territory. They enhance the story of the Gardens.
