The Dartington Estate is home to 26 acres of Grade II* Listed Gardens designed by Beatrix Farrand. Beatrix Farrand was one of the most important landscape architects of the early 20th century, considered by some as the finest female landscape designer of her generation and a pioneer in the field. The garden at Dartington Hall is the only area her designs are in existence outside of America.
Dartington Trust hosted a celebration event in honour of Beatrix Farrand’s 90 year legacy at Dartington. The events programme involved a fundraising dinner with speaker Dan Pearson, an exhibition showcasing her involvement with Dartington and a series of guided garden tours.
A strong figurative graphic identity paying homage to the female designer was developed for the event. In addition to this, graphic direction encompassed a fundraising pack and a mobile exhibition adaptable to various venues across the Dartington site to promote the events.
